Responsibilities:
The Market Operator shall be responsible for the day-to-day wholesale energy trading, market projections and marketing and direct sales. He shall also be responsible for energy, load and generation scheduling activities.
Requirements:
Licensed Electrical Engineer with at least basic knowledge in power transmission and generation
Relevant work experience in power transmission and generation including billing, settlements and metering will definitely be an advantage
Must be literate in office automation software applications and commercial softwares (e.g. MS Office) and with knowledge in Visual Basic programming
Must have basic knowledge in maintenance/installation of computer and network operating system; preferably with knowledge in voice/data communication
Can deliver and implement instructions coming from an IS-IT specialist
Must be creative and innovative and possess excellent analytical, mathematical and reasoning skills
Motivated by commitment to customer service and focused on providing the quality of service essential to high performance
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; preferably can communicate using Cebuano dialect; a team player with strong interpersonal skills and able to work with minimum supervision
Willing to be trained and able to work beyond normal working hours and open to travel
